The Grand Jumble Sale Raised £2,617

Congratulations everyone for all your hard work. Where there's muck there's brass as they say! We raised £2,543.59 which includes £150 for goods sold on eBay since last jumble. We also potentially have £500 to come from eBay for something spotted by our star electrics person, eagle eyed Steve Spurr. Watch this space.........

Takings from the gate show that 398 people paid to get in. Setting up and cleaning up on the day was done expertly. We again owe a great debt to all those who moved the boats and cleared HQ for us. Thanks also to John Leigh for doing the collection of big items and for dumping all the rubbish after the sale with a band of trusty helpers.

Roger and Diane spend hours and hours counting the money and Diane has to carry all that very heavy cash to the bank.

Nine Lives collected the leftover furniture yesterday and the two bicycles kindly saved from being dumped by John Leigh.

Each of you worked really hard and it is all very much appreciated. A great team!

Particular thanks also go to our scouts Roma Hansford, Jamie Marriott and Simran Sian who ran their stalls very professionally and made a great profit from socks, ties, picture etc and children's books.
