HMS Cumberland Passes Gulf Duties to the Iron Duke

HMS Cumberland, a Royal Navy type 22 Frigate affiliated with Batchworth Sea Scouts, recently handed over her Gulf responsibilities to HMS Iron Duke.

The two ships met in the Gulf of Oman and Iron Duke’s Command Team embarked on to Cumberland for a handover brief and discussions. The two ships conducted a traditional ‘sail-past’ where the Cumberlanders waved banners and sprayed fire hoses to wish their reliefs in Iron Duke a successful deployment.
