Beavers Attain Top Award

A group of four sea scouts from Rickmansworth have attained the highest award available to them. The boys, aged seven, from Batchworth Sea Scout Group have been awarded the Chief Scout Bronze award.

This badge is the highest award available in the Beaver Scout section and is gained by completing the creative, fitness, friendship, global, outdoor and promise challenges.

Tom Crosby, district chairman, said: “This is a great achievement for the boys and for Batchworth Sea Scouts and I congratulate them all.

“The Chief Scout Bronze Award is earned by hard work and dedication on behalf of both leaders and Beavers, across a range of skills and activities.”

The boys were presented with the
awards by group scout leader, Simon Theobald.
